Welcome to the Region 8 Fire Council’s Website

The Region 8 Fire Council is a non-profit co-operative formed for the express purpose of furthering the goals and objectives of the fire service in the eight counties of Southeastern Washington State. The counties include Adams, Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Whitman, and Walla Walla. Approximately 75 fire service agencies serve the public in these counties. Region 8 strives to offer quality, cost effective training and resources for all local fire service agencies in the region.
